What is a Microschool?
A microschool is a small, private educational setting where students receive instruction in core subjects—such as Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies—from one or more teachers, typically outside of the home. This model combines elements of traditional schooling with the flexibility of homeschooling, often allowing students to complete assignments at home during off days or times.

Our Program
Academy of Scholars Performing Arts School offers a 21st-century education. Our program includes four categories of instruction:
Self-Directed Learning: A method where students take the initiative in their learning process by identifying their own learning needs, setting goals, finding resources, and evaluating their progress. This approach fosters independence, accountability, and lifelong learning skills, enabling students to explore subjects they are passionate about and tailor their education to their interests and aspirations.
Socratic Dialogue: An ancient teaching method that promotes objectivism and critical thinking by encouraging students to engage in thoughtful discussion and inquiry.
Project-Based Learning: Hands-on, targeted projects that allow students to apply their knowledge, collaborate with peers, and develop problem-solving skills. This method focuses on active engagement and real-world relevance.
Experiential Learning: Learning through direct experience, defined as "learning through reflection on doing." This method emphasizes personal growth and deeper understanding by engaging in practical activities and reflecting on the outcomes.
By integrating these diverse instructional methods, the Academy of Scholars provides a holistic and dynamic educational experience tailored to each student's needs.
