Academy of Scholars Leadership and Learning Center was founded in 2020 to reimagine education through a modern one-room schoolhouse model. Serving scholars in grades 6–11, the Academy provides a structured, college-preparatory academic program within a small, relationship-centered learning environment.
Our scholars engage in rigorous core coursework while exploring STEM, leadership, entrepreneurship, and project-based innovation. Through personalized instruction, mixed-grade collaboration, and experiential learning, scholars develop the critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills necessary for graduation and future academic success.

Scholars in Action
Learning Deeply. Leading Confidently.
Learning at the Academy of Scholars extends beyond the classroom. Scholars regularly apply their knowledge through leadership experiences, community engagement, and hands-on projects that connect learning to the real world.
Scholars participate in activities such as:
• Model United Nations – Scholars research global issues, represent countries, and develop diplomatic solutions to international challenges while strengthening public speaking and critical thinking skills.
• Eat Green Grow Green Initiative – A scholar-led sustainability program where scholars explore gardening, hydroponics, and environmental stewardship while teaching communities how to grow food in small spaces.
• Community Impact Projects – Stus investigate real-world challenges such as food access, sustainability, and environmental responsibility, designing practical solutions that benefit their communities.
Through these experiences, scholars develop leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills while learning how to apply their education to meaningful real-world challenges.
